Privacy Policy
1. Who are we
Zalmgolf is a booking platform for GVB golf courses in the Netherlands. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data do we collect
We collect: name, email address, phone number and optionally address details of bookers; name, email, height, handedness and golf experience of participants; and for NGF registration additional personal data such as date of birth and IBAN.
3. Why do we use your data
We use your data for: processing bookings, sending confirmations and reminders, processing payments, generating invoices, and evaluating courses. The legal basis is the performance of a contract.
4. Sharing with third parties
We share data with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), and Supabase (database). Golf pros receive participant data needed to conduct the course. We never sell personal data to third parties.
5. Retention periods
Booking and invoice data is retained for 7 years in accordance with legal obligations. Personal data that is no longer needed is anonymized. Participant data is deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Contact us via the email address below to submit a request. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie for logged-in users and a preference cookie for language settings. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. Sensitive data such as IBAN numbers is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). All communication is via HTTPS.
